Why
was PillBid.com developed?
PillBid was developed due to the overwhelming response received through
PillBot.com search results. PillBot users have repeatedly requested how
they can achieve lower overall prescription drug pricing. In response,
PillBid.com was developed to assist consumers in achieving lower overall
prescription drug prices through a process known as "Blind Bidding"
and/or "Reverse Auction". In addition, in the event online pharmacies
do not wish to bid on a users prescription drug business, PillBot.com
technology takes over by providing online users with immediate results
scanned from the PillBot.com database.

What
is "Blind Bidding" and/or a "Reverse Auction"?
Essentially, the retailer is bidding for your business without knowing
who you are. They are bidding only on the information they receive from
PillBid such as; a list of prescription drugs, the dosage, quantity of
pills and an approximate overall price for the total of that consumers
weekly and/or monthly prescription drug bill. In addition, there's no
limit to the amount of reputable online pharmacies, competing for that
consumers prescription drug business at one time! No pharmacy gets to
see the other pharmacies bids for your business!
In this case,
they are "Blind Bidding" for that consumers business and must
compete for that business.

Who
sees the bidding results?
The consumer and PillBid.com are the only parties privy to the bidding
process and associated results. Essentially, the consumer has no contact
(and is not contacted) by the online pharmacies bidding for their business.
This process ensures complete privacy for the consumer.

What
if I receive a lower overall prescription drug price and decide to purchase
from the bid results I receive?
Then this is great! No doubt, you achieved your goal in saving money on
prescription drugs and decided to move forward by purchasing your prescription
drugs from one of the bidding pharmacies. However, the choice to move
forward in transferring a prescription, refilling one or changing your
online pharmacy, is totally and completely up to YOU!
You will be
provided a link in your "Bid Results" e-mail, which will send
you to the pharmacy that offered you the lowest price on your overall
prescription. However, be advised, once you disclose your personal information
when making a purchase through that online pharmacy, you will be subject
to that sites Privacy Policy.

Do
the "Bid Results" I receive include all costs?
Remember, the prices you receive through PillBid.com are only applicable
to online and mail order pharmacies. In addition, online and mail order
pharmacies do not include their shipping policy and/or costs in their
bid. At the very least, consumers should always check the "Shipping
Policy" of any online pharmacy or mail order house they elect to
conduct business with!

Why
will online pharmacies bid for my business?
Good Question! Simply put, the online pharmacy business is already moving
in this direction. Pharmacies presently compete for your business with
all sorts of offers from discount coupons to free shipping! Imagine thousands
of users submitting their prescription drugs via PillBid.com? Pharmacies
could actually offer deeper discounts because of increased volume and/or
quantity! It's up to the online pharmacies to compete for your business
and PillBid gives them the opportunity to do so.

What
information is displayed to me on my "Bid Results" page?
First, you will see which online pharmacies responded to your "Bid
Request". You will see your list grow as the number of pharmacies
respond to your "Bid Request". Second, you will see the price
that an online pharmacy is willing to charge you for each prescription
drug you placed a "Bid Request" for. Keep in mind, one online
pharmacy may be cheaper than another when bidding on specific medications.
There's no stopping you from ordering one drug from one pharmacy and another
drug from another pharmacy. Remember, always look for the best price.
On your Bid Results page, you'll be presented with green and red pill
indicators. When a green indicator is displayed it means that the pharmacy
name above the green indicator pill offers that specific medication. If
a red indicator pill displays, it means that the pharmacy may offer the
medication you require, however, it may may not offer the dosage and/or
pill quantity you desire. If you find a pharmacy which only offers two
of the three medications and you're happy with the prices, contact that
pharmacy to get a price quote for the remaining medication, you may be
surprised at the overall savings!

Does
this service cost me anything to use?
NO! PillBid is a FREE service which you can use over and over again. However,
we ask that you answer some of our survey questions on your "Bid
Request" form. The answers you provide will help PillBid ascertain
trends in the online pharmacy business thus, sharing those results with
"consumers who care".
Information
provided by you such as; your CO-pay amount, insurance carrier and choice
of online or off-line pharmacy, help PillBid function more efficiently
for its users. At no time are you required to provide information you
do not wish to include on your "Bid Request" form. At no time
is this information sold or used by outside parties to gain unfair advantage
concerning buying trends.

What
if I don't find my prescription drug on PillBot.com?
We request that you add your prescription drug through PillBot Roundup
on PillBot.com. However, we will cross-reference our drug database matching
up your prescription drug (requested on the Bid Request form) to that
of the PillBot.com database. If the drug or drugs you request a bid on
do not appear in our PillBot database, they will be added! It should be
noted, the bidding process is not affected by a user not finding their
prescription drug within the PillBot.com database.

What
if I receive a bid and the pharmacy does not honor the online price?
Then watch out! PillBid will report all infractions by online and mail
order pharmacies on its front page! Think of it as a rating system that
keeps the retailers on their toes!
You are essentially
rating their performance for other users of PillBid and PillBot.com!

What
if I have prescription drug plan already? Why should I care what my prescription
costs?
Because those who have no insurance or high CO-pays, suffer due to an
industry that's out of control! Go to PillBot.com and do a search for
a prescription drug and see the "Price Difference" between the
competition! In some case, the price difference is extremely high. If
the industry is going to change, the only it will change is if the consumer
takes back control.
If you have
a prescription drug plan and find your "rock bottom" on PillBot.com
or by way of PillBid.com, then go elsewhere with your business! In doing
so, you send a message to a $145,000,000,000.00 yearly business that they
better start reducing their prices to acceptable levels.
